Sometimes while authoring a process or checklist, you might see the error message "Cannot save changes".

When this error appears it is usually because unusual content has been typed or pasted into your process or checklist.

Step 1:  Press Undo (or CTRL+Z / CMD+Z) one or more times then try to save again. Take note of what changed when you could save again. The content that was just removed was the content that could not be saved.

Step 2: Please report the issue to us using the chat icon in the lower right corner of this screen. We will reply as soon as we can and will offer to get online and help you overcome the issue.

  1. Do you have unusual characters or special symbols in form fields?
    For security reasons, certain symbols and characters are not allowed in form fields at this time.

    What to do?
    - Replace things like > or < with words.
    - Remove other characters if needed.
    - Report the issue including the characters you need in your content using the chat icon in the lower right corner of this screen.
